Holy Smokes! I freaking love this article you’ve shared Gabriel (and everything else on your site might I add!). That last sentence you shared about blessing my beloved and I and knowing that we are already deeply connected on a soul level… Feel it. I believe that stumbling onto this blog of yours is an indication of my commitment to grow and call my beloved man in. Something inside me felt called to have a google around tonight and I got you. Amongst other books and resources I have been working through to grow in the last year and a half, I am deeply resonating with everything I’ve seen on your site and I’ve had a good little look around! When you put aside your doubts, you can begin to imagine in both mind and body what it will feel like to have your Wishes Fulfilled. Think about what you plan to manifest — then use your imagination to feel what that feels like in your body. Does it feel natural to you? Does it really feel like this is the “you” that you are deciding to be? By staying only with what your senses tell you is your reality, you place a barrier to letting your imagination create all that you wish for. Your imagination is unlimited.
In 2006, the concept of the Law of Attraction gained a lot of renewed exposure with the release of the film The Secret (2006) which was then developed into a book of the same title in 2007. The movie and book gained widespread media coverage. Rhonda Byrne's book also has influenced the creation of an untitled fiction film based on The Secret, starring Katie Holmes. This was followed by a sequel, The Power in 2010 that talks about the law of attraction being the law of love.
If it is your burning desire to become a professional basketball player, ask yourself how natural it feels to you to be on the court, competing at the professional level. If this feels unnatural to you, you may eventually, with persistence, achieve this wish fulfilled, but only until you have become so aligned with that experience that it feels completely natural to dunk a basketball and sink a free-throw.
Therefore, I think it’s a really good idea to dream up what you want, try not to think about “how” it is going to show up, and then drop the subject and distract yourself from it. If you make it a non-issue, I’ve found it’s quicker and easier for things to manifest. Deliberating too much about the time buffer can make them take a very long time to appear.
In its first function it tends to bring all the forces of the system together, and inspires them with the desire to work for what is wanted. It acts upon the system in general and gives everything in the system something definite to do, that something definite in each case being the one thing desired. In its second function it acts upon certain parts of the system in particular; always upon those parts that can do what is wanted done; and it tends to arouse all the life and power that those particular parts may contain.
Last fall, I was a keynote speaker on “Sacred Punany Power and Self-Esteem” at Chicago Ideas Week. It was a rousing crowd, but afterward a woman named Liz came up to me, practically yelling. “I follow your YouTube and Instagram, she shouted, but I disagree when you talk about the Law of Attraction. You say that most of us are creating by default. Well, I keep attracting crappy relationships that I would never create on purpose, what should I do?” Liz, I’ve got your back, sis. It’s time to go deeper on a metaphysical level.
It starts with what the Buddhists call “Beginner’s Mind.” You begin by taking your opinions, reasons and beliefs about why you can’t or haven’t found love and you put them on a shelf for now and allow yourself to “not know” how or when or where your soulmate will appear. You surrender and trust (just for now) that everything is about to work in your favor.
1) Continue to send out a Soul Call and hold your intention to welcome your Soulmate into your heart. Connect with your Soulmate at the inner level by visualizing and feeling him/her as if he or she is already in your life. You can do this by buying them a card, or setting a place for them at your dinner table. You can also buy a soulmate ring, as a symbol of you holding a special place in your heart for your One. You may also want to listen to my ‘Soul Call’ guided meditation, especially when you’re feeling disconnected or negative about your love life.
Of course, you are responsible for pointing yourself in the direction of your dreams and working towards them. Effort is a big part of the equation, but it’s not all of it. You not only have to work hard for your money, you have to feel worthy of having it. How many of us doubt ourselves and our abilities to succeed? It’s not just about working harder, it’s about working smarter and being confident in yourself, your knowledge and your competency. Most of us miss this subtlety and end up in an arduous struggle against ourselves. But once you believe in yourself, you can create the life of your dreams by bending the “rules of the game” to your advantage.
If you approach money like a power source of its own, then by trying to manifest it, you’re really trying to overpower it, and in such a contest you’ll usually lose. That contest, however, is completely internal — and pretty much insane. It’s like trying to arm wrestle yourself. How can you win? It’s a false reality you’re projecting because you aren’t ready to fully wield your own power yet.
Law of attraction is simple, but not easy. It is nuanced and subtle. It requires a person to look deeply inside themselves and to be willing to change. We create from what I call our 7 inner emotions – 4 of these are our thoughts, feelings, attitudes and beliefs, and often these are mostly unconscious. It is when we change these that our lives begin to change and our desires and dreams come to us.
When you become clear about what you want and believe in this process, you will start to see results. If you have doubts, yes, the universe will show you it’s worth believing, but you have to give 100% in order to get exactly what you want. So many of us think that relationships are just something that is handed to us in life and they are! I mean you can have just about any relationship, but in order to have the right one, you must truly be able to identify yourself and put yourself first. Never settle for anything less than what you deserve and understand that forgiving yourself for taking a step back during the process is OK. Everything works out in divine timing and in order to manifest the right relationships, you have to make sure you cultivate the relationships around you.
The last part of the manifesting process to cultivate gratitude for everything that shows up on the shores of your reality. No matter what it is – good, bad or downright ugly, your role is to say thank you. When you hold the energy of appreciation EVEN BEFORE your intentions have manifested you are purposefully aligning your vibration to allow your desires to flow to fruition with ease and grace.
The Law of Attraction is among the most popular of the Universal Laws. Advocates of this mind-power paradigm generally combine cognitive reframing techniques with affirmations and creative visualization to replace limiting or self-destructive ("negative") thoughts with more empowered, adaptive ("positive") thoughts. A key component of the philosophy is that in order to effectively change one's negative thinking patterns, one must also "feel" (through creative visualization) that the desired changes have already occurred. This combination of positive thought and positive emotion is believed to allow one to attract positive experiences and opportunities by achieving resonance with the proposed energetic law.
Becoming a successful manifestor — whether you want to manifest love, money, a new career, or simply a parking space — requires a certain level of emotional maturity. Great manifestors have learned the art of managing their thoughts and emotions so that even when doubt, fear or other limiting feelings pop up, they are not swept into a spiral of negativity. Developing this kind of mental discipline requires us to make a deliberate choice to focus our attention on what we desire rather than on what we don’t want. For example, whenever I catch myself dwelling in a negative or unpleasant thought or feeling, I say to myself “cancel-cancel,” and I then intentionally create a new vision for myself. Sometimes this simple shift in perception is all I need, and other times I reach into my toolkit of emotional release techniques and dedicate five or ten minutes to working through my mini-issue so that my creative energies stay aligned with the outcome I desire.
Find ways each day to nourish your self with love, appreciation, healthy food, positive thoughts and tenderness. Begin to care for yourself as if you are the most important person in the world. You deserve your own love and affection. When you fall in love with yourself the whole world mirrors that love back to you. Oscar Wilde said it best: “To love oneself is the beginning of a lifelong romance.”
Set your manifesting goal. Get crystal clear on exactly what you would like to create, do, be, have, or experience. Then work those imagination muscles. What would it look like if you already had that, if you were already living it? What would surround you? Who would be with you? What would you wear? What would your bank account reflect? How would you spend your time?
