Right away I can hear people asking, “How do we know which desires are ego-based and which are not?” We will get to that shortly. Drawing from personal experience, I have used the LOA and was able to attract what I wanted into my life, but there were other times it didn’t come into being. Why? Simply because there is a larger factor at play —YOU have a say in determining whether or not a specific reality might play out for you. But when we are engaged in mental and ego desires, we often don’t see the perfect reason for why we didn’t bring about what “we” wanted.

Posting the vision board is very powerful and keeps everything you desire alive within your consciousness creating the attraction. I like to make copies and then I post the original on the ceiling above my bed so I see it first thing in the morning and the last thing at night. I also put one in the kitchen, bathroom and in my car. They are a powerful tool for me to create the life I want.

If you follow all the steps before, to believe in yourself will become a very natural thing for you. It will become a routine and a habit, and that’s exactly what you’re shooting at! You develop faith by repetition of the same thoughts and ideas – so repeat that you’re a worthwhile person deserving love! Believe that you can achieve anything you want in life, believe that the Love you have been so long desiring and waiting for, it’s finally going to manifest in your life!
Thank you so much for explaining the term soulmate, i felt i had met my true one, but because of past life experiences, we drifted apart, i still feel he is the one, so i will start my manifestation, as you have explained. I did meet with him in passing, a week ago, and he acted so awkward towards me, a lot of things have happened in the last 18 months, but i feel we are going to reconnect, i also feel our time apart was needed, as we were not in a healthy place, i wasn’t personally because of the loss of so many close family members. It may be the reason that we sometimes strongly connect with strangers and why we get negative “gut” feelings about others. So if you are in a certain state of mind you might attract others that have your similar beliefs, goals, and ways of being. So who knows. It might be, it might not be. All we can do is create our experience this very moment and all other pieces will fall where they may.

One of my clients came into our meeting one day, with a big smile, and said, “I have a new husband!” I had just seen her two weeks before and I knew she wasn’t divorcing, although she was unhappy. So I asked, “What’s up?” And she explained that she had taken my suggestion to begin to appreciate her husband. She thought about what she loved about him, she appreciated the little things he did and she remembered why she married him. She changed her vibration to see him as someone she loved rather than someone who annoyed her. As she focused on those things, those became the things she saw the most in him. The way to fix a relationship is to focus on feeling the feelings we want to have in that relationship. Then we change our expectation and our point of attraction.


Stop looking at the horizons in front of you and feeling overwhelmed. Look at the horizon behind you. It’s just as far and infinite. Think about how far you’ve travelled already. And, allow yourself a small tear of pride. Give yourself a pat on the back for the efforts you’ve made, the roads you’ve travelled. The universe thanks you for being part of this amazing story we’re all creating together.
Even deeper, they could know what they want, but they are afraid they are not worthy of having it. This is a huge problem and stems from a lack of self-worth. It’s more difficult when you don’t see yourself as valuable of the good things that we are destined to have. Some people forget that it’s our birthright to be blessed beyond measure, so we accept whatever is handed to us.
Step 4 is important for two reasons. The first is that it aligns you with your desires. The entire concept behind the Law of Attraction is that like attracts like. When you take action as if you’ve already gotten what you desire, you are sending a huge, loud and clear message to the universe that you’re serious. Actions speak louder than words, right?
Law of attraction practiced prior to the 1800s. If you are referring to arcane practices in Babylon and Biblical times that we have little knowledge of, I am aware and have looked at these. If there are some specific and relevant references I would be interested in hearing them. As you believe in a LOA, most of what you hear will be filtered through this lens. As I now do not, most of what I hear will be seen through that lens.
Imagine for a moment that it’s a beautiful winter morning and there’s fresh, pristine snow on the ground.  You walk up to a hill with your sled, and slide down and take your first trip down to the bottom of the hill.  This first time, your course was pretty random, right?  Then, you walk back up to the top of the hill once more and you sled down again. Okay, the odds are that you’re going to hit at least some of the grooves you created the first time that you went down.
Think of it as a radio signal. As you scan through the radio, in-between stations fight for a signal. Most people are pretty familiar with this experience. The two stations compete and occasionally you’ll hear one song and then parts of a different song start to edge in. You’ll notice that neither station comes in perfectly crisp and clear. In the same manner, when you experience doubt or fear, those thoughts and feelings interrupt and compete with your desires.

OMG! OMG! OMG! This is the truth! I recently read The Law of Attraction by Esther and Jerry Hicks and have been following their teachings almost to the T. I have managed to manifest so many amazing things into my life other than what I really want and that is money. I put my disappointment out to the Universe and it responded immediately with a Google search which lead me to your site. I realized, based on your instruction, that the old self talk in regards to money was still present. I had not allowed myself to develop a relationship with money because of the fear initially taught to me in my youth. So I followed your directions as best as possible. But, as stated before, and it cannot be repeated too often, the desire must be persistent and strong, as strong as all the life and soul we possess. In other words, we must wish hard enough, and we wish hard enough when our desires are sufficiently full and deep and strong to thoroughly arouse those faculties that have the natural ability to fulfill those desires. Many desires are only strong enough to arouse their corresponding faculties to a slight degree -- not enough to increase the activity or working capacity of these faculties, while most desires are too weak to arouse any force or faculty in the least. The act of wishing hard enough, however, does not imply hard mental work. If you make hard work of your wishing, you will use up your energy instead of turning it into those channels where it can be applied to good account. It is depth of desire and fullness of desire combined in an action that is directed continuously upon the one thing desired that constitutes true desire. To wish hard enough is simply to wish for all that you want with all that is in you. But we cannot wish with all that is in us unless our wish is subconscious as well as conscious because the subconscious is a part of us – the larger part of us.
Take time to get really clear on the amount you are requesting for the Universe and also the time it will take for you to receive it. The Universe LOVES specificity. If you’re not clear on what you want to attract then you will be manifesting by default and all sorts of nasty surprises can appear when you don’t pay attention to conscious awareness. Trust the Universe. Imagine an alternate dimension that is almost exactly like the real world but whatever you truly desire comes true in an instant. See yourself in that dimension, where whatever you ask the Universe for comes to you in an instant. Don't look for what you asked for; this is where people tend to mess up. If you have to keep an eye out for an event that manifests your wish, it's only telling the Universe you don't have it, and you will attract not having it.
If you want the universe to work in your favor, you also need to do your part. According to Harry, manifesting the love you want really depends on you and how open you are to receiving it. "Opportunities can occur immediately or it could take some time, this depends on how aware you are," she says. For instance, if your friends keep asking you to go out with them on a Friday night but you keep turning them down, you're limiting your opportunities. Maybe the universe is just waiting for you to say yes so it can introduce you to the love of your life, but you keep saying no. "This phenomenon works like magic," Harry says. "Just make sure your eyes are wide open and you observe everything that goes on." So always be present and be aware of the opportunities the universe throws your way.
Most people don’t consider using the Law of Attraction to bring better health into their lives, but as you noticed in the results of the aging experiment, it’s actually a great tool for that purpose. Because the Law of Attraction works with thoughts and thoughts affect our physical reality, you may be attracting poor health into your life right now without even realizing it.
We can't always control our circumstances, but we can control our responses to them. In this vein, the Law of Attraction can provide the optimism and proactive attitude that's associated with resilience in difficult situations, but must not be used as a tool of self-blame. Our responses to the challenges we face can make us stronger in the end, and the Law of Attraction can be used for that end, but should not be applied negatively, or it can be more destructive than helpful.
A favorite Abraham-Hicks’ quote of mine is “a belief is just a thought you keep thinking.” What does that tell us? That beliefs can and do change. But knowledge, understood as an evidence-based understanding of something, is unwavering. Well, maybe there’s more of an 80/20 rule about it. I mean, once upon a time we just knew the Earth was flat. Now, we know it’s not.
