I worked with a professional footballer once. He was getting very nervous about shooting goals. He kept missing even though he was very talented. I insisted that he kept watching himself on TV scoring goals and burned that image into his consciousness. I didn’t want him thinking about anything else. Every time he had a negative thought he was to switch that picture, either on the TV or on the TV in his mind. And he was to surround the thought with positive emotions of love and respect for himself.


Most people find their lives completely out of order. It’s not that they don’t want better. It’s because they really don’t know what it is they truly want. They have not taken the time to find clarity in the vision for their lives. Instead of making each moment of their day intentional, they just go with the flow and hope for the best. These are the people who wind up regretting years of their lives because they finally realize that they could have had more.
Sorry for this being so long but I just wanted to share because I know it can motivate someone to keep pushing and keep trying. Like i said, I was down to my last and The Higher Power made a way for me to eat, and get around. You have to trust and believe. I know it’s easy to say than do but you have to go within and find a way. Keep your mind and feelings focused on what you want. When something negative pops up, I revise what is said in my head or I would listen to music until i felt better. For me, I found ways to make myself feel more loved by taking the time to work on my self love. I found the places in my life where I already felt supported and taken care of. I started taking myself out to artsy shows and museums. I ate a lot of Thai food. I practiced staying true to myself. Well, I sure didn't wrestle myself, but I did imagine wrestling him from time to time. I took the time to practice more self compassion and understand myself. I found lots of ways to laugh more.
And they'll try to use the "LoA" as a way to get more 'things' which really just satisfies ones ego and comes from a place of lack. They use it as a tool, as a means to an end. But it's not a tool, it's more of a "this is how it works" and being consciously aware of how it works can be pretty powerful, just not *necessarily* in the way many would think (red lamborghinis and such).

As for you question on meditation, again-it depends. For new conscious practitioners of the LOA, I usually recommend 10-15 minutes each morning. However, again, it depends on how you are appreciating the meditation. If you are enjoying it and finding it calming and uplifting, by all means go for it! If it comes to feel boring or tedious, feel free to substitute it with another vibration-raising strategy (perhaps listening to good music, or doing yoga or watching inspiring videos). I am trained as a "hard science" PhD in Pharmacology and do understand scientific method. The LOA is not based on scientific method and the erroneous conclusions in metaphysics are based on incorrect scientific assumptions. These assumptions may have seemed reasonable in the 1800s that there was no air around us, only ether and that thoughts only transmit through ether. Perhaps this assumption is correct, however we are not surrounded by ether.
Law of attraction is a law of nature, like gravity is a law of nature. That means its working all the time – bringing you good and bad stuff, according to your thoughts and beliefs and other inner emotions that we are mostly unaware of. If this person was my client, and many of my clients have said this to me, I would ask a lot of questions. I would ask her about self worth.

If you are constantly worried about bad things happening, or negative outcomes, then you are using the law of attraction against yourself. To worry is really to apply most of the above steps, towards a negative outcome. You are visualizing the negative outcome and asking the universe for it with pictures of the negative outcome; you are feeling the feelings of the negative outcome. Stop worrying and follow step seven above.

Clement Stone promoted the belief that this is a universal law in which you attract only what you are thinking about. I’ve noticed that as I’ve shifted my vibe to manifest larger sums of money and to manifest new experiences in other parts of my life, I seem to fall out of resonance with manifesting smaller sums. I’m not as good at manifesting coins as I was in 2006. That’s because my vibe isn’t tuned in to the coin manifesting frequency as much. You claim that "positive thoughts always resulting in positive things" is not the basis of the LOA. In part you are correct. The foundational basis in science, as I alluded to in the article was that thought stuff particles travel through ether (not air) and interact with formless stuff to create whatever it is that you are thinking about. This was how "the law" started.

You have no idea when or where that special person could walk into your life.  He or she could be someone you already know or met in the past.  They could be someone you’ll be meeting on your next business trip or vacation.  They could also be your next date’s brother or sister!  Your next Facebook friend or Twitter follower.  They could be someone you’ll be meeting at a coffee shop or at the train station while you wait for the next train.  The key here is to surrender all pre-conceived ideas and drop all your expectations of how, and with whom it is to happen and continue to focus on ‘what’ you want by being fully available and present in each and every moment. 3) The Third List: Your Gifts. The third list is, in my opinion, the most important one. Your soul mate will not be coming into your life to rescue you, make you happy, or save your life.  A soul mate is a friend and partner with whom you’ll be sharing your life.  Someone who will love, nurture and support you while you love, nurture and support them.  Someone who understands the power and beauty of a true soulmate union and will hold the space for love, even when you can’t.

a) Electrons have positive charges. b) In physics “Like always attracts like.” [magnets?] c) Thinking burns up brain matter. d) Only ether (not air) conducts light and thought. e) Ether connects all minds together. When 2 or more minds come close together, “mind stuff” mixes, and creates a third, “master mind.” f) Higher altitudes have more oxygen, better air for breathing. g) Vibrating sound more quickly turns it into heat, then light, than thought. h) Thought energy is 40,000 Hz to 4 X 1014 Hz or above 7 x 1014 Hz. In reality brain waves are slow 1 – 100 Hz. i) The universe hears nouns, not adjectives or qualifiers or only sees pictures of your thoughts. j) Every thought you have (about 70,000/day) has a specific frequency or wavelength of energy. “Thought Stuff” leaves your brain, travels through the ether around us and causes “Formless Stuff” to create whatever you are thinking about.
Take time to get really clear on the amount you are requesting for the Universe and also the time it will take for you to receive it. The Universe LOVES specificity. It’s difficult to imagine that thoughts and feelings can have an effect on the world around us. Fortunately, advances in technology and science allow us to visibly and immediately experience the effects of our thoughts. Just like watching an apple fall through the air, there are experiments that demonstrate the immediate effects of thoughts and feelings.


My biggest mistake in this area was with my fiance. We both knew we didn’t want to get married until we hit our 30s.
