A lot of people get this wrong. You don’t want to attach yourself to the idea of the desired person. You have to trust that the universe is going to give you exactly what you want. So if you have a crush on or are in love with Adam, you cannot put Adam on this list. You have to go with the feeling. Think, “I want to feel secure, trusted, loved, etc.” What do you want in a relationship? Yes, you can put handsome, but try and stay away from the superficial things and trust everything will fall into place.

I would stay up all night anxiously thinking in the dull light of the Hello Kitty Café game on my Kindle. Some nights I would read tarot cards instead, refreshing the pages of my iPhone until they told me what I wanted to hear. Hello Kitty and electronic tarot did little to calm my nerves and they certainly failed at taking my mind to a more hopeful place, so I thought that maybe going back to my Catholic roots and focusing on prayer might help. It was truly a last resort since I rarely pray in a traditional sense.
Be sure to start this list by stating whether if your Soulmate is single, straight/gay (yes, you must be that specific) and available for a healthy, loving, committed, long-term relationship (or marriage if that is what you want.) Also, be sure to include that he or she lives close enough to you, and/or is willing to relocate if necessary for the two of you to be together. It is very important that you do not get too attached to this list, but rather release it by saying to yourself, “I welcome this, or something better!”
So who is your Soulmate? What does he or she look like? What are their qualities? What is it that makes them unique and attractive to you? For many of us, this journey towards our Soulmate begins by first experiencing what we do not want. Funny how life works, isn’t it? If you have been, or currently find yourself, in a relationship where you find that things are not flowing, it feels like it’s too much work, you argue and fight a lot, you don’t feel like you are compatible or complement each other, the passion is long gone, you constantly feel anxious about the relationship and you’re struggling to be happy, instead of feeling stronger, supported and inspired you feel weakened, or the person is in another relationship and not available to you, chances are that you’re not with your soulmate.
It is impossible for anyone that must deal daily with a crippling disease to not be constantly reminded of the effects. Consquently there would never be a time that their energies as defined in the secret would be 100% positive. Then according to the secret their chances of uncommon success at the uncommon hour would be slim to none. I think Lance missed that part.
Until your manifesting vibration is skyrocketing beyond the moon, it is important to take physical actions in the world towards creating what you want. The most effective kind of actions are those that come from an inspired place which make everyone naturally feel excited and motivated. The simplest way to determine if you are inspired to do something is to check inside your heart. If doing this specific activity expands your heart and seems to add energy, pizzazz, or joy to it, you are operating from an inspired place. If, on the other hand, your heart feels tight, contracted or you sense it is your duty to do it, this action is coming from a place of fear or a more ego-based way of perceiving the world. Simply choose to start taking one or two new inspired actions everyday. Soon you will feel your vibration soaring and synchronicities will suddenly start to appear. The process of consciously manifesting your dreams is indeed much easier than you have ever imagined. All it takes is a little courage to try out something new, and an open mind that doesn't know how to close.
How desire proceeds, and how it secures results in this respect is easily illustrated. We will take, for example, a man who is not earning as much as he feels that he needs. Naturally, he will begin to desire more money; and we will suppose that this desire becomes stronger and stronger until it actually stirs every atom of his being. Now what happens? He is not only arousing a great deal of latent and unused energy, but all of his active energy is becoming more and more alive. But what becomes of all this energy? It goes directly into his moneymaking faculties, and tends to increase decidedly the life, the power, the capacity and the efficiency of those faculties. There is in every mind a certain group of faculties that is made by nature for financial purposes. In some minds these faculties are small and sluggish, while in other minds they are large and active. And that the latter kind should be able to make more money and accumulate things in a greater measure is quite natural.
I am not exaggerating when I tell you that 3 weeks later I received a phone call that changed my life. A song that I had sent to an advertising agency had been accepted for use in a commercial that would be aired nationally. I would be receiving SAG money for as long as the commercial was on air, which meant I would be paid every time it was played. I was to complete an additional 8 hours of work to finish some audio components for the commercial, but after signing the contract I could be assured that money was heading my way.
Venus is the ruler of Taurus and has been retrograde since October 5th/6th (until November 16th) in the opposite sign of Scorpio where the Sun is at this lunation. This retrograde period is a time of re-orientation of things connected to Venus which could include relationships, friendships, love, values, money, beauty, pleasures, fun, art, or creativity. You can read more about this Venus Retrograde here.
There's an old saying, perhaps you've heard it, "consider the source"? Do you not see the irony in your criticism of LOA, classifying it as a "pseudoscience", with your employer being PSYCHOLOGY TODAY? if I'm not mistaken, has the field of psychology itself, in It's infancy as well as today, not been debunked, by "actual science", referring to it also as "pseudoscience"?
To get into the habit of creating easily and effortlessly, one thing you can do is start to take advantage of “wish opportunities” like shooting stars and wishing wells. The nice thing about “wish opportunities” is that they are quick and we don’t spend too much effort on them. We just put them out there and move on about our day, and this is really how the Law of Attraction works best.
This worked great for weeks, through one of the most frigid springs on record, and I was starting to think that maybe my father was right, maybe people like Byrne really knew how the world worked. Then the weather warmed up and the air was thick with pollen. My eyes swelled, my nose started pouring, and I ended up with a sinus infection and a bag of medications from the otolaryngologist. Of course, one could say The Secret failed. But look at it this way: When I first started imagining myself drip-free, the universe responded by sending a cold snap! Then because I became so blasé about my sinuses, the universe decided to warm things up again. Surely there is a lesson here for Al Gore.
Think about the strengths and energies that make you unique. When you were a child you thought to yourself “Wow, I am ME. Nobody else is me or can feel the feelings I feel. They’re mine alone. This energy is uniquely my energy.” Then, of course, the world trained you out of this way of seeing things. You wanted to be the same as everyone else (or at least, they wanted you to be the same). Breaking free and removing failure from your vocabulary allows you to follow your bliss with ease.

Often the primary reason why people struggle to manifest a flow of money into their lives is because of their inner dialogue with it. Money is an enormous source of stress for many people and is really difficult to handle anxiety. When your mindset operates in the past and the future simultaneously it produces negative emotions that prohibit or stall the flow of energy to manifest money. The key is operate within the moment and be present. This enables clarity which leads to being more decisive and the ability to follow through with massive action. A positive energy and attitude is the result which aligns with the flow of energy to manifest money among other desires.
The original creators of the law of attraction going back to the 1880s including Prentice Mulford,James Allen, Thomas Troward, William Walker Atkinson, Bruce MacLelland, Wallace Wattles, Napoleon Hill, Earl Nightingale, and W. Clement Stone promoted the belief that this is a universal law in which you attract only what you are thinking about. Modern LOA proponents such as Rhonda Byrne, Jack Canfield, Bob Proctor, John Assaraf, Joe Vitale, The Hicks family, and many others have stated similar beliefs.
Becoming a successful manifestor — whether you want to manifest love, money, a new career, or simply a parking space — requires a certain level of emotional maturity. Great manifestors have learned the art of managing their thoughts and emotions so that even when doubt, fear or other limiting feelings pop up, they are not swept into a spiral of negativity. Developing this kind of mental discipline requires us to make a deliberate choice to focus our attention on what we desire rather than on what we don’t want. For example, whenever I catch myself dwelling in a negative or unpleasant thought or feeling, I say to myself “cancel-cancel,” and I then intentionally create a new vision for myself. Sometimes this simple shift in perception is all I need, and other times I reach into my toolkit of emotional release techniques and dedicate five or ten minutes to working through my mini-issue so that my creative energies stay aligned with the outcome I desire.
Have a clear intention. Conscious manifestation is all about intention. Intend that your vision happens at your will. Manifestation doesn’t require an effort but being focused on what you want. Intention gives a clear direction to your desire. By being focused, you say to the energy where it should go. Imagine that you’d like to start a yoga studio but your energy and focus would go on being on Facebook and chatting with your friends. While there is nothing inherently bad about that, the thing is that you lack energy that you need to support your dream. Every dream needs a certain amount of energy to manifest in a physical reality. This is where focus and intention play a major role.
